Looking for a blender of some sort that is good at chopping, pulverizing and all that jazz. I am a bit disappointed I missed out humming and harring whether or not to purchase the kogan vitablast blender for $69 and I don't think he's going to bring it back due to copyright or safety issues. Can someone recommend me an oz bargain alternative, it's mostly going to be for making smoothies, chopping stuff etc. I'm open to all Ideas even the smoothie oriented blenders.
Recommend Me a Blender!

Hi there I got a Ninja Master Prep Professional for Christmas and I've got to say it's one of the best presents I've ever gotten, I've hardly missed a day since I got it and it's a breeze to maintain.
We got the one from Aldi and it is actually pretty good. Same thing the missus uses it for and it blends really well. Never thought I would say that about and Aldi item. They sell them for 99 bucks and I think it is 5 year warranty
Is that the one that has the safety recall? I like the look of it but I am WA and unfortunately we don't have any aldis here yet

I have an Aldi one but it was blender and food processor combined. Its really easy to use. Bought it about a year ago and very happy. Can't remember the price unfortunately.
There was an issue with blade potentially breaking.
Kogan have similar blender (https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/kogan-1400w-vitablast-blender/)and also recalled it. I got it for about $70 on special just before that.
A new replacement blade is coming in the next week or so to all who purchased it.
It's currently unavailable/marked as sold out, but once that replacement comes through i think they'll start selling them again.
The best, in my opinion is a Vitamix, however that's around $1000 or a bit less depending on where you buy it. You have to think seriously about how much of a connoisseur you are, and then you'll be better able to decide which. If you don't care about the consistency and quality of the food you make, a cheap one will be fine. But if you actually want to really pulverise stuff and get all the goodness, as well as enjoy a smooth and tasty drink, you'll want to spend more.
have a look at this.
http://www.froothie.com.au/store/froothie-blenders/optimum-9…bought one of these for Christmas. it's amazing.. had a ninja doesn't compare, had a nutri bullet doesn't compare, had a few other breville and sunbeam blenders and those don't compare.
there are you tube videos of it as well.
also Costco a few weeks ago had a older model blentec for like $500 as well.
My wife just purchased something called a ninja that she uses for smoothies every day. She seems to like it. She paid around $70 at Harvey Norman I think retail is around $99
