20% cheaper than major online retailers in Australia.
You won't find a better price for this particular model on Australian eBay either.

16cm white ceramic blade, maker is Kyocera (a well-known Japanese company) model FKR-160WH, brand new.

Shipping within Australia is $9 with registered post.

As pointed out by previous posters for our chef's knife bargain, care instructions are provided on our website. We'd rather give everyone a good idea of what is recommended and what isn't. As with most knives it's best to take care of them properly.

  • This is an awesome product, I bought one on eBay from overseas it took about 2 months to arrive but it was worth the wait, if you are fussy about your knives you'll love a ceramic knife - I wish I'd found this Oz based seller before I bought my knife.

Might even buy a couple for Xmas presents now I know I can get them locally.

  • About $20 cheaper (When Delivered) on eBay.

    • The ebay price is in american dollars, not australian.
60+8 US = 68 US = 74AU, you will pay about $76 through paypal/CC with their currency fees.

For the extra $10 you get local post and local support.

      • Anthony, you have forgotten to add the postage of $9 ($85+$9), that's where I got the "about $20" from!! :)

        ~$94 to 95AUD - $74AUD = "About $20".

        Cheers.

        • In my opinion (after waiting ages for my last knife) its worth paying extra for one shipped locally, you never know if customs are going to reject something like a knife. Its never happened to me but I was paranoid about it for a few weeks.

  • nice… but these things shatter/chip and becomes useless …

  • +1

If you wanted to go mega budget in conjunction with your $20 paypal voucher: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.28960

Less to do with Japan, and more do do with China I'm gathering!

  • Provided you take proper care of the knife you shouldn't have issues with it breaking. I use them at home and have never had any problems.
