  • Lodged my claim on 19 Feb, early morning. Got an email that they will verify the claim and contact me.
    As I didn't hear from them I had to send them two e-mails.
    Finally they replied and instead of advising of the status of my claim and getting account details for payment they just suggested to check Spam folder.
    Not helpful at all!
    I replied saying that I have been checking my Spam folder and there haven't been any e-mails from them.
    And several days later no reply from them again…

  • i also submited the claim form on 21/02/15 and received the email notification "Your details are now being verified and we'll be in touch to confirm your cash back offer payment." Haven't heard anything yet. i did select direct deposit as well. any idea what to do ????

    • The promo is handled by 3030.com.au but they are not giving useful info via email. Schick is owned by Energizer so perhaps you can complain to them about the poor performance of 3030.com.au? http://schickfreeyourskin.com.au/men/contact-us

      Do check you spam folder regularly in case it gets emptied. Gmail filtered the second e-mail for my claim ("Your claim has now been verified. To complete your claim, please provide the bank details…") but it let the first one through to the inbox ("Your details are now being verified…")

    my brothers was in the junk mail and my spam box must of been emptied automatically. thus i would just email them your name and bsb and ac no. before the deadline to be sure. poorly run promo if it says payment option via paypal then they should be paying by paypal not asking for ac no's later on its not right.

  • Good lord - thanks for the heads up. This has been sitting in my Spam folder for weeks, requesting my account details. Response sent, after five whiskeys:

    Firstly, please note that this email was flagged as both SPAM and a Phishing Attempt by my email security. It took me this long to find it when I was tipped off by others that entered the promotion.
    Secondly, I selected the PAYPAL option on this promotion. My paypal user id is ____

    I don't expect to have my bank account details solicited by a promotional company that stipulated PayPal as a payment method, and in this day and age of internet security I would raise any insistence to the contrary with the company(s) that have hired your services.

    Kindly review and advise within the terms of this promotion.

    • imo, them mentioning paypal was a poor/confusing decision. that said, they are doing a bank transfer. nothing to do with your paypal account. if you want to get paid, reply back to them with your bank details in to the form they sent you.

    Just gave them a call.I got the same mail in my spam folder asking for my bank details even though i provided my paypal account. This didn't make sense so i replied to their mail asking why they need my bank details?
    For me, it was not really safe to provide my bank details to a mail which into my spam folder.
    One week later, they didn't reply so i went to their website's contact us page, sent a query.
    Two weeks after, again no reply so i just gave them a call and she didn't even bother to say sorry we didn't respond.
    Only asked for my paypal again and said she will make the payment.
    The answer to my question on why they want bank details was: It's only a fallback plan.
    Anyone who hasn't got their refund yet, send a mail to [email protected], include your ref number, paypal email, first name and last name.

          @lamprey: Yes, still waiting. I actually rang 3030 yesterday and the lady said the payment had been approved and forwarded on to the appropriate department. She thought it would have been sent by now but could see that it hadn't been posted yet. She then said someone was on leave in that department so hopefully I should get it soon. I wonder when that will be?

    Just got off the phone from 3030 (Direct number is 02 9438 1700) Very helpful. They have been overwhelmed and are still processing a large amount of claims but assured me that everyone who received a reference number will be reimbursed in the next week. They had me details on file and pushed me up the list (in theory :-).

      Thanks for this, I had almost given up hope. Fair enough considering I had heard nothing since the initial confirmation email and had no reply to three follow up emails…
      I ended up just including by claim number, Paypal email and bank account details in an email, and have just received payment into the Payal account today.

  • I just got an email saying thirty 30 has sent money to my PayPal. I thibk they've changed somwthing which has caused this delay.. I don't think they were ever planning to deposit into our PayPal accountS. Im sure it said something about not needing a PayPal account when selecting payment options

    • I am pretty sure when selecting payment option it says Paypal and Cheque, and at the bottom it writes something like:
      "only email address is required for Paypal payment" or something like that.
      This makes me choose cheque as I don't want it to go into my Paypal account which I am still waiting for my cheque now.
      This sucks.

      I'm still waiting for a response to the "Your details are now being verified" email I received 5-weeks ago on 20-FEB

      • Have you tried following up at all? Might need to be more proactive as this has not been a well run promotion. I was in the same situation, but ended up just emailing them my details and got the refund by PayPal a few days later.

  • Received payment via Paypal inspite of specifying bank account details, at the end though money is money I guess. I put my claim in on the 26th of Feb.

  • Made the claim on 11/03/15 & chose paypal payment, no email received asking for bank detail but received email from paypal today and advised payment was credited to the account.

          The guy mentioned they received some inquiries as well and mentioned something about AusPost problem.
          Looking at all cheques hasn't been received, I don't think is AusPost problem and really doubt if they have posted the cheque.

  • Still no cheque received. I made a second follow up phone call yesterday. This time I had to leave a message which has not been returned. My refund email was sent on 19 th Feb and it has been over 56 days waiting to receive my cheque….. more than twice the promised time. Doesn't look like I'm going to get my money back. False advertising.

    Wow, it's Sunday and I just had a phone call to say that I should receive my cheque next week. They were very apologetic about the delay but explained that there had been some problem with the original cheques. Let's see if they are true to their word?

    My cheque finally arrived in today's post! Six weeks overdue. It also says it must be presented within 12 weeks of the date of the cheque. Anyway let it be known that I finally received my cash back.

  • Just let you guys know that I got cheque today. The date on the cheque is 23 April. I suppose they are still processing the claims. In mid-april, I send email to 3030.com however, they did not reply. Anyway, they should not have said - refund in 28 days.
