Get her in shape for a good bang. With sneakers on and no socks is pretty nice ;)
At first glance I thought you wrote 'get her in shape with a good bang'.
D:
well he did write that?
Pfft who didnt get Slazenger socks while they were on that $1 for 5 pairs deal?
Couldn't turn down some freshly ozbargained crispy slazenger white socks as well. Maybe for another time.
@Davo93: i got her 4 lots of 5…
Thanks OP!
Is there a pair that might be particularly good for someone with flat feet (fallen arches)?
Thanks
Most don't have arch support, which is a good thing for the flat footed because the arch is a friction point for blisters against the flat foot underside when running.
You really have to try them on before buying, I have very flat feet, I've run with the 860v4s (which aren't part of the sale) before, they're are a good shoe. but I prefer ASICS GT-2000
Thanks for the helpful feedback :) I do have orthotics, so maybe arch support in the shoe itself isn't such a big deal.
AGree to the ASICS GT-2000. I got it in wide and its the best for my wide and flat foot for runs
Thanks OP
Flat feet often means overpronation (rolling over your foot too much on the inside). If you check the wear on your shoes and it is mostly to the inside and big toe, then you should try and get shoes to help correct that. I was told by a physio that Asics Kayano or Asics GT2000 are very helpful in this regard. I suggest you check online for info on over/under pronation to see if that applies to you as the right shoe can make all the difference.
No scientific support for pronation correction in reducing injury:

Bugger, missed out on the red pair
Muahahaha sorry not sorry if you're Mens US 11.
It's great having big feet, my size is always available lol!
Came to $36, thanks OP!
Didn't see any mens shoes for $60…. I'm size 13 as well
Nice, gotta up my ozbargain game, need a new pair after my dog destroyed my old runners

thanks for this - brilliant deal. I literally ordered 5 pairs of NB on Amazon with the free shoe shipping deal 2 days ago, and these are cheaper after discount. Managed to cancel 3 pairs from Amazon before despatch so very pleased. Looks like i need a bargain on a shoe rack now…
3190 or the 1490? which is better?
Too late now but the 1490's are great in my opinion. Almost sold out when I got to the deal but sold out by the time I could remember my login details.
The 3190's are very comfortable, the 1490 are very uncomfortable.
I bought 9 pairs of the 3190's as I have bought them before and wear them to work. Won't have to buy shoes for ages now :D
how is the fitting? because i've been trying to do research if it's true to size and some say it is and some say have to go half a size up. also i think these ones are US ones?
Your current pair of new balance will have sizes from mutliple countries, just look up the US size and try that….or got into any sports store and try on a few pairs in the same general type ie don't use a running flat to work out your size in some overly padded large drop shoe.
I currently run in the 3190. They are without any arch, which suits my flat feet just fine as this is my typical cause of running-limiting blisters. They are reasonably light, have a heel to toe drop. I paid $50ish 3 months ago from Amazon when there was free/minimal shipping and a discount on shoes.
was the shoe size you bought the same shoe size you wear normally?
I ordered my usual New Balance wide 2E, US size. It fits as expected.
Grabbed the red and black 410s. Will use the Hyundai A-League promotional laces on them, for maximum RBB points.

420s ordered thanks!
I have read that the 502 fits half a size small.
I am normally a 8 but went for a size 9
last time i tried these in US size 8 was definitely a tight fit.
If yours have arrived, how did the 9s fit? Interested to know for next time. I'm usually an 8 and ordered these, but they're definitely a tight fit, as you observed (didn't see your comment prior to ordering). Hopefully they'll stretch a bit.
Eastbay have the 3190 for $49….no idea on shipping costs http://www.eastbay.com/product/model:210693/sku:3190MR1D/new…

eastbay shipping is usually about $30USD
I note there is free shipping over $75? So you can get 2 pairs of 3190s for $100 US? Delivered.
that is free US shipping only… would be great if it was international as well…. oh well
@heathwithnoteeth: Ok…thanks.. Was just trying to be helpful. Never used Eastbay -it just came up when I was looking for 3190 reviews.
Eastbay have a lot of deals on shipping and prices and if you buy enough the shipping spread out isn't too bad.
Got some 3190s, thanks.
Thanks OP :)
Five pairs arrived today (models 410, 420 and 501, so all from 'casual' range). Two women's and three men's and they're all quite tight and, despite being regular 'D' width, are also rather narrow. Hubby's 420s are too small to preserve with despite him ordering half a size bigger than his 'jogger' New Balance. Wish we'd read the comments re sizing on here before ordering. Hopefully most will stretch a bit. So be warned if you're still looking! Great price though, so thanks OP
thanks. copped a pair for the misses… cheers
