First time posting. This place 3Q Chicken at Sydney CBD recently opened as a competitor to the famous Hot Star Large Fried Chicken. They are now offering $7 for Large fried chicken + curly fries + a drink.

Taiwan and Korea got the heavy weight throw down on Fried Chicken.
Shape isn't great compare with hot star.
Hot Star is amazing. Tried out 3Q to see which was better and Hot Star won, hands down.
I had this last time there was a scoopon. It is a large breast piece of chicken in a thin batter, kind of 5 spice? Plus curly fries and a can of drink. Good for $7. I was initially dubious it wouldn't be much for lunch, but it turned out to be quite big. They cook it in front of you so it takes a couple of minutes, but that means it comes out super fresh/crisp.
did you find some small bones inside? i thought it should be fillet
Yes, there is a bone in one end, the forward part of the ribs. It is not a fillet.
Any sauce/aioli?
No but you can ask for chilli powder.
I don't think they ask for spice levels like Hot Star, because I had to ask for it.

Bought 2 of these last time they had the $7 deal.
I agree Hot Star is nicer, however I noticed 3Q was significantly less oily..
For $7 with side and drink, I'd buy another 2 just for cheap lunches.
Tempted to try as I work in CBD
It's a good deal, but I will hold off (too many kilojoules!).
