  • $10 delivered doesn't seem like much of a deal. My local bargain shop sells 50 packs for $6. GoLo I think it is.

"CONDITION: BRAND NEW" I certainly hope so, Best Before dates would be better :)

    • +1

I wonder if people will try to sell them second hand on ebay after this sale..

      • +2

Depends if they have licked them or not :))

this birthday event has been posted before.

just bought 250 chupa chups for $40. =D

  • +2

Well, 50 Chupachups for 5 bucks and 300 bucks to get your teeth fix after wards ahahahah. Not a good deal for me but still good price

  • +2

I thought we didn't list individual deals from the one sale like this? Shouldn't they all just be kept in the one post ie. Crash Day http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/18153#comment-112619

  • I'm pretty sure The Reject Shop has a pack of 40 or 50 for around the $6 mark. Going by memory here but I think it was one of those parallel import items. Won't post a negative because I'm not entirely sure if they are still available.

    SOLD OUT!

  • hmm wonder what i could do with 50 chupa chups without eating them , modern art maybe ? hmm

  • -3

DO NOT GET THESES PLEASE!! BET YOU $50 BUCKS THEY WOULD COME SO CLOSE TO EXPIRY YOU'LL HARDLY GET THE TIME TO EAT THESE

    • +3

Pretty sure "best before" is July 2010….

    • Pretty sure a ball of sugar would take a long long time to go off anyway.

  • well great for trick or treat candies!

    • +2

So Treat = hand them to them, Trick = throw them at them? ;-)

      • Aim for the eyes, the pointy stick bit could do some damage.

Went to BigW Carnes Hill today and saw at the front of the store 40 Chupa Chups for less than $5 a bag.
So if you factor in $5 for the 50 plus $5 for delivery, you would get 50 chuppa chup for $10.
Buying it at BigW for $10 you get 80 chupa chups.

  • Damn, just missed a DSi for $199…

  • +1

R.R.P wouldn't have made a difference if you were on, the site would have crashed anyway. The Chupachups would probably have been imports or something, I bought some toothbrushes from catch and they were imports retailing equivalent of 20cents if not less!

  • Yes .. Catch of the day is misleding .. and very tricky indeed …

On a day like today.. when there is one item for sale every 30mins or 1hr … they have like one or two "BIG items" (e.g., Wii, DS, and even PS3 last time) …

BUT HOW MANY OF THOSE DO THEY HAVE IN STOCK???? They dont tell you !… because .. NOT MANY AT ALL … the point of having those items is to make you go to their website … and buy all the other stupid things .. like those OVERSEAS CHEAP POOR QUALITY TOOTHBRUSH mentioned by discostu …

BE HONEST catch of the day… and come clean on how many of those "big items" you have in stock when they are listed at those crazy price… perhaps 10? 20? or 50? ..

FROM NOW ON .. YOU SHOULD STATE THE QUALITY AVAILABLE .. so people can dont have to waste their time if there is ONLY 10 !!

    • +1

They do say how many they have available for the catchaton and pressure cooker sales.

  • +4

big w sell 40 packs for $5.95 - no postage.

    • wow, if i liked buying boxes of sugar, i would get mine from there…

  • Cheaper elsewhere.

    Arrived on friday.
The individual chupachups say "only for sale in vietnam"
    FAIL CATCH OF THE DAY
And they are extremely hard to open (most are, but these ones seem really tricky)
And my girlfriend thinks they taste different (I however couldn't tell)
Not impressed with COTD once again.

  • Jakey, the same thing happened to me, I bought Colgate toothbrushes and they were also from Vietnam. The packages say that they are sold individually for 2500 dong, which is equivalent to about….20 cents AU! Was EXTREMELY annoyed! If I'd known they were the crappy asian ones, I would have bought some when I was there earlier in the year! The quality of the asian ones is nothing like the ones we have here.
