EDIT: lol they increased the price anyway…scam

    • But the deal came this afternoon, and this code is not advertised so i reckon the price of the item you bought was going to change at midnight for some other reason.

  • Any bargains?

  • Could've got another few bucks off my years' supply of finish dishwasher tabs…

  • check the laptops, http://search.dealsdirect.com.au/search?w=laptop
it looks there is no upper limit as I (tested and) loaded my cart with laptops, totalling around 4k with around $600 discount

    • Don't bother with the IT products and computers when shopping with DealsDirect, they have a very outdated inventory and prices aren't all that great either. They're ok with homewares, toys and other kinds of knick knacks but for IT stuff stick with the big boys at DSE, JB, Kogan, MSY etc.

Thanks op. Just claimed price protection on my credit card for the reduced price on a rug i purchased last week :)

    • Thanks mate, good to know this 'price protection' thingy does work, it is on my card too but never thought about using it. Thanks again.

No problem! Just double check with 28d that you have opted for the cover.

Then anytime i see a sale (ive even successfully claimed when i purchased my lg g3 from ebay store [qd] and then ebay had the 20% off sale) just lodge an online price protection claim with ge money.

        Found here www.gemoney.com.au/insurance/claims.html

Its pretty quick and simple. For claims less than a certain amount ($300 or so) you dont even need to provide proof of price drop, but i keep a screendump handy just in case.

Approval is pretty quick. I claimed this one on sunday and by yesterday i had an email saying my claim has been approved. Funds get credited back to your credit card.

Hope this helps, its a brilliant feature!
