I was trying to use my PS3 eye toy as a webcam on my PC running Windows 8.1 and was advised its not worth the effort and to get a cheap webcam instead. The suggestion was the Logitech C270 for $24.
So I've decided that's what I'll do but thought Id check here first to see if the C270 is going to be my best bang for buck?

Grabbed one at OW and got them to price match Umart at $59.
Awesome deal and was straight plug and play.

I picked up a LifeCam Studio for around $17 after cashback from OW after pricematching MSY. Seems MSY have taken all the MS webcams off their website though.
Just take note of the accepted retailers.
