And add a icecream for another 50c and they aint too bad at all. Any idea how long this goes for and for what states?

Nah, add bacon for a good breakie. $2 is the regular price ( same goes for z$1 frozen coke, $2 med shake etc)

    • I have seen this deal in NSW.

Cheap but they are always $2 at the local hungry jacks ( I assume all HJ then)Part of their cheap menu items.

      HJ and $2………..hmm….rings the bell!

        $2 HJ better than a $2 BJ??

The Pancakes are better at Hungry Jack's…

What happened to the bold fonts? What have you done to jv?

        low on ink again…

    • I got them once and they were quite chewy and disgusting. Is this the norm or did I get a bad batch?

$2 at HJ but you only get 2 pancakes per serve. At Maccas it's $3.95 i.e. almost double but you get 3 pancakes. So "the pancakes are cheaper at Hungry Jacks" :)

Then buy two serves, and get four pancakes. Compared to MacDonalds, you get one extra pancake for five cents more.

    • there might be one extra but Maccas pancakes are quite thin, almost crêpe thin, has anyone had both? i think Maccas are precooked, are HJ too?

      • +1

HJ are cooked fresh, not precooked. (son has a part time job at one)

      • Yep. Come frozen and are zapped in the mic for (I think) 10 seconds.

I think they may be the same brand as the ones you get from the bread section at supermarkets.

    • I do prefer the Maccas ones though, HJs ones just aren't as good!

Would like to point out, if you've got a decent pan. Green's pancake shake has been as low as $1 a bottle reasonably recently :) Make the whole family happy at that price!

even the home brand woolies is fine.

    • +1

Yep, $1.50 or something at Aldi, makes about 15 pancakes and in the end you get a nice 1L plastic jug for household use. Cant beat that.

      • +3

Also you can add self rising flour, dehydrated eggs and power milk to bottle plastic jug and sell on ebay as "reconditioned"
