370

Cans are usually $2.40, but are on sale for 60c each.
At Kings Langley NSW Woolworths.
I doubt it is for every Woolworths.
They had at least 20 trays of 12 cans.
product of Indonesia.
The green/blue cans are for pineapple I think, but these are "tropical pieces" but underneath pineapple in juice.

    Australian or imported?

    • I haven't seen Golden Circle 'orange' cans before, aren't they usually blue or green ?

      • +2

And why are they "tropical pineapple"?

My skepticism alarms are going off

        • +2

Australian pineapple. They are just cut a bit chunkier than the regular. I would buy a slab of these if I could.

          Great first post.

My skepticism alarms are going off

It's not listed as one of their pineapple products

I reckon these are fakes !!!

OP's post says "product of Indonesia"

        • @heal: Guess the OP was lying then?

        • +1

          @heal:

          Australian pineapple

Where did you get that information?

Strange that OP lists it as Product of Indonesia, & not listed as a product of Golden Circle in Australia.

Another product from the Parallel import section of Woolworths by the look of it.

          @heal:
Not Australian. Imported Indo. My local carries both. I always pay extra for the local stuff. #supportAussieFarmers

        • @heal: I humbly stand corrected. I just checked the tin I have in the cupboard and it is Indonesian. Damn it, I was enjoying the tropical pineapple but I won't be buying another can.

Pineapple needs to be gagged and shot in an alleyway and sent back to the tropical paradise it came from

Post looks ok, you listed the price, the state and the name of the store, only way you could improve it is if you listed the size of the cans :)

    • +5

And a receipt for price match at officeworks

      • +5

I dont know if this is a joke or not.
If its not a joke, I can attach a receipt if you want.

        • +3

I highly doubt OW sell canned pineapple. It's a joke.

@sween64: I first thought it was a joke, but we all know how hard core some bargain hunters are.

    support oz farmers.

    • Not a pineapple expert but they taste the same to me. Very good deal.

I eat a can a day. Wife loves me for it. Thanks OP

    • Does it really work?

      • +1

Eating fast food / junk food or drinking booze has obvious and rather immediate negative effects.

If you're that concerned about… that stuff… then you'd wanna eat a routinely fresh clean diet rather than just add in a bit of pineapple to whatever you're currently eating.

(fwiw, I realise theworks is joking) :P

    • Makes your … taste sweet i heard, can you confirm please, for the future of mankind
