Damn that's cheap. Too sugary for my tastes, but seems like a serious bargain!
Waiting for the day they make the sugar free pasito and creaming soda in cans!!!
they already have sugar free creaming soda in cans (i see them in woolworths same price as regular)
I can confirm as I've tried it, very good indeed.
Omg that's awesome. Most useful info ive heard all day thanks.
agreed i have always seen the white cans of kirks sugar free creaming soda, but never tried it. always assumed it would be crap like every other sugar free drink!
I've ever seen it in cans, only in 1.25l bottles, so pretty keen.
If it was any of the kirks sugar free range I would have bought 10
Wilburre, creaming soda has been made sugar-free in cans for quite awhile. They sell them at a supermarket.
The taste is a bit metallic though.
Why do you drink sugar free?
It is an interesting dilemma for the fans of soft drink. Do you choose the drink full of sugar that will make you more prone to obesity and diabetes? Or do you go with the sugar free option with artificial sweeteners that some 'experts' say can cause cancer and mental health issues? While there is yet to be a definitive study that I've seen that proves the so-called negative effects of artificial sweeteners, it certainly makes you think, for now I'm sticking with the devil I know (sugar).
If you're that worried about your health you shouldn't be drinking soft drink full stop.
I was just probing what their reason is, not that you should be drinking soft drinks with sugar only.Made that mistake and regretting it.
@syousef: which mistake?
@syousef: which mistake?
The "if they're both bad for you might as well go the sugar" mistake.
When the kids spill it ,it isn't sticky to clean up.
Hmm why drink sugar free?…. if you have 2 fizzy drinks that are both palatable sitting in front of you, and one of them makes you fat & rots your teeth, why wouldnt you go with the other one?
great for mixing with vodka, roughly 120 calories per drink
You're assuming the sugar free options doesn't have any negatives…
nothing immediately obvious, no.
@itsdanthaman: I'm not sure the lack of sugar makes your teeth immune to rotting, either.
So over time then.
@gokhanh:
actually, got told by a dentist that sugar free softdrink is still acidic and can mess with your teeth as well.i think i should just drink water to save myself……. oh wait, fluoride !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That leaves only one choice; beer :)
sugar
20.8 cents per can. What a bargain!
I'm guessing there's nowhere in SA you can get it at this price. If I can find some, 10c refund FTW!
Got 10 x 4pack of 250ml energy drinks one time, 40cents back/pack.. 15cents a 250ml can of V, score!
Not sure on the situation with these cans though.
SUGAR!
For a second, I read it as "Kirk Cameron's Soda"
My little brother used to call this Screaming Soda
Screaming Yoda!
Well that's pretty bad….but better than Creaming Yoda ;-)
Still cheaper to just eat a bag of sugar
I mean, this is cheap and sweet !
thanks for letting us know.
is this at all coles stores ?
That's the big question. Check your local and report back.
Tried Coles in Caroline Springs, Victoria and no deal for us here unfortunately
I saw these in Coles West Leederville (WA) last month.
Even better with red rum! Mmmmm smooth and sneaky's….
Great find, looks like I'm going on a Coles safari tomorrow.
