There are free downloadable copies of this book in various electronic formats and a self-paced free online course where you can explore the course materials. Book available for free here as well. Not negging the deal as for some people just getting it from Amazon is cheaper easier however if you want easy access to a drm-free version then go here - http://www.pythonlearn.com/book.php

Also links to the code samples and support files you need.

"There are signficant differences between Python 2 and Python 3 and this book and class is still Python 2."

Looks easy to learn but I'll stick to using Scratch for now. I want more control as Scratch is too limiting but I'm 2 lazy 2 type
