  Panasonic are notorious for this. Every firmware update you'll be missing yet another service or two, until all you have left is Youtube and not much else. Has happened to us on 3 different Panasonic Bluray models over the years, suffice to say, there won't be a 4th.

    For people like me who only use Youtube with the internet functionality, it's not an issue. I've had an older Panasonic BR for a few years now and I couldn't possibly fault it.

        @quarrymaster: Yes, yes actually it is. Really the most important regions are A and B - this player already plays B, and most A's are region free. I actually have quite a few Region A blurays that work on my Panasonic, no problems at all.

    From the description I posted here doesn't seem it can play MKV but it does support MP4.
