Could you point out some bargain? This is just a link to an email most ozbargainers received.

Note that the deal is at Shopping Square not Shopping Express

    • Is this the same company that used to do sneaky deals and bait/switch tactics?

Tempted to get a 128gb microsd, but $140 is still quite pricy

    • But cheap as crap, compared to other (if any) options.

      From a US review 9/Mar/14
"…the only thing that might stop you from picking up a new 128GB card is its price. The card has an MSRP of $199.99, which is pretty steep. But you can get it from Amazon or Best Buy for $119.99"

So the price now should be much cheaper!

      • Eh? Maybe we aren't talking about the same thing but I believe I've seen 128GB sdxc cards (quality brands) as low as ~$100 for a while. And the average seems to be around $120 or thereabouts.

And a well … a brand that you might have issues with in high speed applications (video basically) as low as 75. I would risk the $75 if it was for a low speed device like a phone personally.

        Basing this off Amazon prices.

I'm sorry I cannot recall the brands here so take it as you wish.

        • "128gb microsd"

        • @Utopian: Yes I apologise this is actually what I meant although I did not specify micro in the above post.

    • I want to get one for my $89 PendoPad but buying storage which cost more than the tablet itself just doesn't make sense…… :-P

Why not? I have the motto "you can never have enough storage" when it comes to devices.

        • So true. Currently in front of me I have 4 x portable HDDs nearly filled up and it's not even pr0n! :-P

  • Good prices. Samsung EVO pricing is better than MSY.

For those who purchased before, how fast is shipping?

    • whopping 4 weeks for non australia stock

      ~10MB/s

        5cm per second

So well animated, it's also known as 5 wallpapers per second. I hope that guy makes another movie soon.

Not the cheapest for some items. Sandisk Ultra Fit CZ43 64G USB is $32.00 at MSY, normal price, versus $36.95 on special at Shopping Square.

And yes, the MSY on-line catalog is messed up, they have the pictures, prices and descriptions mixed-up for these drives. The PARTS.PDF is correct though.

Maybe BUT then you have deal with all the stuff ups, short ships and Lack of/NO communication that IS MSY!

I recentlty put through an MSY order online for pickup. Sounds easy eh? NO WAY!

No email to say it's ready, after several days, then had to call the branch-Kingsford several times as they never answer and finally to be told "no order"even though I had confirmation and an order number! After explaining that was then told "come in" but not whether they had fulfilled the order just "come in"!

When I get there have to wait in line for nearly 30 mins as only one guy runs the whole shop! Only then to find he hasn't picked the order so another 5-10 mins and then I'm advised some items are not available even though they were in stock when ordered and my confirmation stated that!!

So then send them a please explain/complaint email 3 times. No answer, response, reply nothing not even some unintelligible Chinglish!

And then several days later I get a system generated email to say my order (what order) is ready for pickup even though I had been there weeks before!!

MY ADVICE WOULD BE TO SHOP ELSEWHERE LIKE SS AND SE (SHOPPING EXPRESS) ETC AND SPEND A BIT MORE IF NECESSARY AND GET WHAT YOU WANT THE FIRST TIME. UNLESS OF COURSE YOU LIKE HAVING YOUR TIME WASTED, NOT GETTING WHAT YOU WANT, GETTING FRUSTRATED AND STRESSED OUT BY INCOMPETENT IDIOTS! :(

      • I'm not endorsing MSY, I'm just saying Shopping Square's price isn't that great.

That said, I've had no real troubles with my local MSY (Morningside, Brisbane). Sometimes I go in and find specials that I hadn't previously heard about, like WiFi routers for $5. Perhaps some stores are better than others?

More often I use MSY's price to do a price beat at Officeworks, which I pass on my way home from work. Sadly, they don't stock the CZ43 drives.
