Compass level is an app that turns your phone into a spirit level, compass and GPS.
To get the GPS function and remove the ads go to the menu at the top right of the screen, click "feedback and contact", "enter promo code" and enter 'appoftheday'

Is there seriously a single person out there that would actually use this app as their level while building something?
I just compared this to the physical bubble I used for setting up turntables. Unlike earlier apps like this, it was fast, accurate and precise. Tested on a Huawei G526 [so-so] Xperia Z [Great], Nexus 10 [great], but pretty hefty for a level :-)], Nexus 7 [great. "Cluefull gives a medium risk warning on permissions tho, probably because it offers wi-fi sniffing as part of its location [?].
Now to wait for the Whirpool " I popped a nail through my [X] while using a pneumatic nail-gun I found on Ozbargain" posts to start Rollin in…..

i previously installed a compass level app but i don't think i've ever used it for anything useful. might be good if you don't have a spirit level handy

Yeah there's such a thing as right tool for the job and a general purpose computer in a thin rectangular box that measures things using sensors is just not it :D
Handy I guess if you're stuck somewhere and you don't have a level I suppose. Yet to have this happen but it could I guess :p
