Just curious.. What does everyone here use for DIY pest control at home for ants, spiders, cockroaches etc…
And how effective is it? :)

Tried most of them and found this to be best value… Brunnings 3L at Bunnings (active ingredient Bifenthrin) $17.60 .. note that this is the 3L version and not the 2L one sold elsewhere.

We use the manual hand spray from Woollies, home brand, indoor and outdoor. It retails $30 but they have half price on these every so often. Works well to prevent spiders and crawling bugs; respray every few months.
Spiders are pretty good at eating mozzies and flies that may get into the house, maybe try to just target the cockroaches. Also, roaches are attracted to crumbs etc in the kitchen, so try to clean up often.
I used David Grays around 1.5 years ago and only recently started to see ants in the front yard (Council strip) out and about. Might give the whole place a spray at some point, but was curious as to what everyone else does.
For ants in the garden, I bought some 'ant sand' from BigW and put a circle of the sand around the whole nest. No sign of any return after 12 months and it was very cheap.
