GeekBuying Deals and Feedback!

Hi all

I am now associated with Geekbuying. My role is to help Geekbuying post deals and to communicate with the community. I am a volunteer and not employed by Geekbuying.

We would like to find out what you think should be our next deal. We are willing to try and provide the best competitive prices.

We're thinking of offering a discount for the Teclast x98 Air II Dual Boot and the Teclast Air 3G Dual Boot. You can visit the manufacturers website here for more information.

I have made a poll below on which categories you think items from should be discounted and if you think the Teclast tablets should be discounted too. Feel free to suggest any items you think we should offer a deal on too!

Thank you

  • I wouldnt mind that non 3g tablet if trhe price was right.
youtube vids look awesome of it.

  • Do these come with an activated version of Win 8.1?

    • Since they both include Office 365 they should, but I will confirm just to be sure.

  • Coincidentally I've just received my Teclast X98 Air 3G from Geekbuying - was really looking forward to it, but the tablet arrived damaged. Still trying to resolve, but so far the experience has not been good.

You can read my forum thread here if interested:

    • Apart from the obvioes damage how is the tablet?

im really interested in one they look awesome.

      • Sorry, but I can't give you much feedback yet. I only powered it up once, and haven't taken the plastic sheets off it yet. Didn't want to do anything to ruin my chances of a replacement unit - though the wait is killing me!

From the 2-min play I had with it though, it looks really good.

  • Don't buy from China and certainly not Geekbuying. They did the same to me, sent me a clearly use tablet with a busted up and opened box. When I realised the tablet was faulty and wouldn't charge I emailed GKB. After 2 weeks and multiple excuses I finally was allowed to return it. They then pointed out tiny imperfections in the tablet and even on the box and charged me $25 restocking and wouldn't cover return shipping.

I paid for it via paypal but they sent it out 3 weeks after I paid and it took 2 weeks to arrive. I couldn't open a paypal dispute as it was too late.

Do a quick google search for GKB scams and you'll find out all about em. Crooks.

I even tried to review my tablet on your site, any negative reviews are never published which is why everything has positive reviews.
