  You should be able to get a similar sized HD for around $99 without the hassle of rebate.
  None the less good deal if you see it through.

  Any idea what model number this drive is?

  It looks different to the S2 Portable drives on the Samsung website

  The only thing I've found which looks like the item on sale is the HM160JU 160GB Model

  It doesn't seem to be a very common model. I haven't seen it at any other retailers.

  This is good if it's $99 after cash rebate, and not good if it's a $50 'voucher'.

  If it is a voucher title should read $149 with bonus $50 voucher or similar.

      Then perhaps you can edit the title to reflect this :)

      To me, when I read $99 - I think $99 AUD. Not $149 with $50 TPBD rebate. Very misleading. Maybe $149 with free $50 store credit is better.

      EDIT: Just read your edit, good point, some clarification would be nice - whether or not you can turn it into real money or if you need $50.01 to do so :)
