I saw this from Lapyking, Chatswood shop yesterday. Outright price is $649. After trade in is $499. They poster said they will accept trade in any brand dead or alive machine (Desktop or Laptop with CPU,HD,Ram inside). I suppose you should have one of rubbish PC for trade in :-). I searched at staticice, but only display the low end model (Celeron 2.2GHz 1GB RAM / 160GB) at the price more then $549. This one could be a bargain if you are looking for an extreme cheap full size surfing notebook.

They have 20+ yesterday. But only 5 leave after I bought one on shop this noon. Below is the spec I saw at their on shop poster.

      I dont think the OP is claiming that you get further cashback from toshiba. Only that even after cashback, buying from HN is more expensive.

      Cashback is only available from HN/JB etc.

      I talked to the sales on shop. He said the redemption will finish at 31Oct. But anyway I suppose this notebook already gone. as I just saw 5 leave at 13:00 today. I also saw lot of another model but only this one is good deal. If anyone want it please call them before you go.
