It looks like Sony have reissued the previous offer http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/16380
The terms and conditions now say 1 Sep to 30 Oct 2009.
- This offer is made by Sony Music Entertainment Australia Pty Limited (Sony Music).
- To participate in the offer, you must purchase an album on the bandit.fm site with your credit card within the promotional period. The promotional period is 1 September 2009 to 31 October 2009 (inclusive), unless shortened by Sony Music in its discretion.
- The offer only applies to your first purchase of an album with a credit card during the promotional period. Any subsequent purchases do not attract the $20 credit.
- You must use the $20 credit amount within 30 days of receipt, after which it will expire.
- The offer does not apply if you have existing credit on your account from recurring top-up credit, gift certificates, bandit.fm cards, promotional cards or any other voucher credit (Voucher Credit). Any existing Voucher Credit must be expended before you are able to participate in the offer.
- If you are registering on the bandit.fm site for the first time, you will need to complete registration by clicking the link in your confirmation email before you can purchase downloads from the site.
- The $20 credit is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
- The bandit.fm site accepts the following credit cards: VISA, MASTERCARD and AMERICAN EXPRESS.
- Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, Sony Music (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence) for any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the offer, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under Sony Music's control); or (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference.
I defer to the senior mods on whether this is new and worth bringing to the new attention of people or whether the previous offer should just have the expiry date extended, where people will not see the offer is available again.
Reasons for listing this as a separate offer:
1. The previous offer expired for 1-2 weeks before this became available again.
2. Changing the expiry date of the old offer will not let most people see that the offer is again available
Reasons against listing this as a separate offer:
1. The terms and conditions say that the offer covers the period from the previous start date through to the new closing date
2. Deal is from the same group, same sponsor etc
