Aspyr's online store GameAgent has Beyond Earth on sale for $29.99 down from $49.99. This is for a Steam key which should work on Mac, PC, and Linux as Steam games are cross-platform. I have not purchased it from here so cannot confirm but plenty have bought the 'Mac' Steam version from GMG to play it on PC.

Aspyr are the publishers of the Mac and Linux version of the game (which as stated on Steam also gets you the PC version) and have not price gouged Australia unlike 2K Games, hence the cheaper normal price.

Not sure when sale discount expires as site does not say.

        yep, sure is. Apparently it includes the Mac, Linux and PC version. I'm just playing the PC version now and I'll try the Linux version tomorrow.

    Good price. After playing it for free over the weekend, if my pile of shame wasn't so large (and expensive) I'd jump on this!

    Great price but… And I won't say "Don't bother", though… If you have Civ 5 already, treat the purchase with extreme caution. It's more or less a reskin of civ5 only slightly worse in just about every way.
