  • I wonder if they're grey imports like CotD…

    • From the pictures of the Oral B packs, I'd says yes. Quality is apparently diminished.

Compare with the original Colgate Omron Web page:
        http://www.colgate.com.au/app/ColgateOralCare/ElectricToothb…
click on "other views" for the packaging picture. Equally poor picture quality, Sherlock.

Sorry, it's the "nouveau" on the packaging the leads me to believe here imported. Also, sorry for the confusion, I meant the quality of grey import toothbrush heads can be diminished compared to local stock.

        • @sween64: imported does not automatically reflect in any way on quality of the item.

        • @derek324: maybe not for Colgate but for oral B heads it reportedly does. It may be the same.

Site registered by a Sole Trader - Getoar Gashi. Who has a history of spamming his site via You Tube comments. Looks like Counterfits from AliBaba in China to me.

  • Expensive vs Oral B heads, which are often around $15 for genuine Aussie stock from shaver shop.

Not sure why this Colgate deal was posted, does not look like a deal, probably cheaper on ebay or alibaba.

Not sure why comments like that are posted. Oral B works very differently, obviously the heads are not compatible, so how relevant it is to mention Oral B at all? It is also probably best to check some facts before posting. Currently: Alibaba search does not list them, eBay does not have any from Aus reseller (only from UK, much more expensive), the Shaver Shop sells them for $29.99.

      • Never said they were compatable, only that it seems expensive for a counterfeit item vs a genuine item at a trusted Aussie retailer.

        • -1

"Never said they were compatable" - thus irrelevant here
"counterfeit item" - really? how did you reach such conclusion?

  • We'll soon see! I bought a pack. I did ask the seller to make sure it is not counterfeit else I'll be lodging dispute. Person promptly replied as I'll quote below:

"I can guarantee you that they are 100% genuine goods and not counterfeits. We are a Australian registered business and we do not deal in counterfeit items.
I can give you my personal guarantee that they are genuine & not counterfeits goods.
If you have any other questions comments just let me know."

    • "We are a Australian registered business"

I suppose being registered as a "Sole Trader" makes Mr Getoar Gashi a "business".

      EDIT:
      Yup, it does.

A sole trader is the simplest business structure. The structure is inexpensive to set up because there are few legal and tax formalities.

If you operate your business as a sole trader, you trade on your own and control and manage the business. You are legally responsible for all aspects of the business - debts and losses cannot be shared.

Yeah but the point is even the genuine grey imports are crappy.
Genuine or not- not a deal.

      • -1

"Genuine or not- not a deal" - check it - currently the lowest price in Aus, and "not a deal", seriously?

No idea if this item will even reach me for a review.

Shipped on the 19th & auspost tracking details says "no events currently found". Contacted person via email and contacts form and have yet to get a response.
