  • one time I bought a $2 box of pain killers and the receipt had a 20% of telfast voucher on it. Knocked it down to almost $20. This was a few months ago, so its possibly still running

Ever since I discovered that you can buy antihistamines on eBay very, very cheaply (100 pills for $6), I haven't looked back. I have always found Aussie anti-allergy pills incredibly expensive for what they are, especially if you need to use them daily (like I do).

do you have a ebay link?

        I buy these: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Cetirizine-Hydrochloride-10mg-Ant…

Honestly, just search and use the worldwide function.. it's not difficult to find them, there are hundreds and hundreds of listings. Search for the active ingredient you know works best for you.

That's the Zyrtec generic. I bought Loratadine which is a Claratyne generic. The fact I bought 400 tablets for $20 means I haven't needed more than a dozen of them in a year.

        • @Steptoe:

yep - and for the people above worried about india/sri lanka pharmacueticals - you can get ones shipped from USA for a few dollars more.

The 2 you can get cheap are the claratine and zyrtec generics - telfast generic isnt popular overseas for some reason.

doesn't seem to matter when Panamax is 69c

I would be careful buying any medicine from ebay, there are too many counterfeits. I wouldn't risk my health over it.

I would rater get the chemist own version for $19.99

Guys, thanks for opening up a new door for cheaper medicine. I tried buying a similar generic brand from Amazon for $7.45, but they are charging $70 for delivery, dosn't add up :)

What's the name of the eBay antihistamines? I've been buying phenergan, as it knocks me out!

+1 for ebay Loratadine. Absolutely no different from Claratyne but you can get 400 pills from the USA for the same price as 30 from the local chemist.

    I got these recently:
    Chemists' Own Fexo 180 - 70 x 180mg Fexofenadine hydrochloride - $19.98
    http://www.pharmacydirect.com.au/product/chemists-own-fexo-1…

They look identical to the Telfast 180mg I used to buy and work just as well. I think they are from the same source.

    • I think they are from the same source.

Fexotabs is the cross-licensed generic of Telfast - deal updated/corrected - both being made by Sanofi.

      Chemists' Own is by Aspen.

  • check the expiry date before you buy.

  • does anyone know if Costco in Oz sell medi?
I see in the US they have their Kirkland brand medication.
