Is it just me, or does $120 seem like a lot to spend on essentially a white polo?
I am a cricket fan, but if I wanted to spend that much, I'd just shop at Country Road!

    • Agreed. a $120 polo is no bargain, even with the free cap.

      • Yep, too much for me. I bought last year's ODI shirt in yellow for $50 from DFO before the Gabba test which was a bit more reasonable.

    • Not going to neg this "bargain" but really to get a cap for a $120 Polo is NOT quite right for this group.

  • Must resist temptation to neg…

  • And considering the test series is all but over now!

  • a replica for that price? should be the genuine article!

For $120 for a replica polo shirt, im expecting it to do something else too, maybe make you bowl better.

  • Thank you all for your comments (and kindness in not negging).

I am not a mad cricket fan either, but I know these sporting memorabilia items can be costly. For this reason thought some may be interested too.

Not long ago I sent an email to a brother overseas about some football tops that were very discounted. He advised me they were not such a good bargain after all as none would wear them over there. Apparently they were the previous seasons! For that reason I didn't think these cricket shirts would be considered over-priced as being for the current season. Thought that cricket fans are not so fussy as the football ones about the season thing either. If you are interested but can buy them cheaper I would definitely be looking elsewhere, as I would be too. They do look rather good though don't they? :o)

Actually, after reading your post I decided to go onto the official ICC store to check out the coming World Cup tops. I must say that I'm pretty disappointed in their designs and/or colours. Very dull compared to some of the previous tournaments!

      • In comparison yes, but not all want to buy those brighter designs I guess; my opinion but I just thought they looked smart. I had a look at the ICC store too and they appear to be the same price. I was rather surprised at the range of cricket clothing that is available there. Would be an expensive exercise for a fan to be buying a new set of clothing for each series, even if they only bought the caps.
