I bought one in Feb with HDMI. quality is good, but you have to modify the driver file for some laptop graphic card in win7.

if you look that the gallery/features section on the web then you should be able to see the HDMI port

If you can stretch a bit more, it is only $305 (using NRMA discount) for the excellent 2209WA IPS monitor which has a better screen and stand. I would get one myself to use for 360 gaming if only the 360 could output at 1680 x 1050 via HDMI.
I second that. I've got the 2209WA and it's fantastic. I'd go for quality of image over an extra inch….but yeah, a little pricy for a 22incher.

jus bear in mind its a glossy finish not matte. which means u will experience reflection.
Are you sure there isn't a HDMI port? Do you mind double checking because I am interested in this monitor if it still has HDMI.
It doesn't list it in the specification nor does dell provide a HDMI cable but many people claim it does support HDMI and the pictures on the website also shows a HDMI port.
Will this work with Windows 98?
The Operating system won't make much difference.
It's possible that a video card from the Windows 98 era may not be able to make this monitor display at it's correct resolution, can't say for sure without knowing the specs of the Card that will be driving the monitor.
Windows 98 is also well before Widescreen Monitors existed so you may have trouble getting the picture to look right in any case.

Nope, that includes delivery.
Still not 100% sure on the HDMI, seems to be conflicting info.
Personally i don't care to much, Has DVI which is what counts for most PC's still.

i just bought a g2420hd for around the same price but was thinking of swapping it. this monitor is an inch smaller but it's higher res and has a better stand.
