      I think it might be the other way around. DXRacer is the original that Harvey Norman used to stock before racetec.

          They've been advertising in pro gaming for years. If you don't watch pro gaming, then you probably haven't heard of them, but they've certainly been around for ages.

    These may be great but I dont like companies (not just yours) that have pu leather as the material. Say the truth and call it PU vinyl/plastic rather than PU leather - leather is a hide from an animal not a man made vinyl sheet.

      Technically PU leather does contain a leather backing: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bicast_leather

      Anyway, as long as it's clearly labelled as PU leather and not misrepresented as anything else, I don't see the problem.

        From looking at the material their pu leather does not contain a leather backing, it's just vinyl.

      Just to let everyone know…delivery was quick!

      Assembly was easy and I now have a replacement for my office chair…which should have been replaced awhile ago.

      Also let others know that the armrest is slightly different to what is speced - at least for me and I presume all other U series chairs.

      The armrest I got was the same as the M series, it goes up/down, forward/backwards and side to side. It can also be rotated but only very slightly.

    Hopefully i'm wrong, but it doesn't look like the 'Foreign Professional' designers intended it to be used with a G27 type setup, as none of the castors appear to be lockable. Every time you tread on the accelerator or hit the brakes you would be pushed away from your desk or whatever.

    Lockable castors aren't expensive though. My modified office chair / race seat just has self drilling screws screwed into the castors to prevent them from rolling. : )

      Just got my chair, really solid build.

      It took me 30 minutes to put together, a bit longer than most chairs. Lineing up the screws for the back was a bit tricky with the pu leather getting in the way.

      The seat height range is approx. 45 to 54 cm. I am 6'2 and it is comfortable on the low setting.

      In fact, I would like the chair to go a bit lower, because I have a bracket under my desk where I slide in my make shift G27 holder. I like to sit low to the ground when playing race sims, so it feels like I am in a sports car I will never own :-) At the seats lowest position, I still feel like I am in a family sedan.

      This chair might not be suitable for the vertically challenged.

      Still, great value at this price and I am very happy :-)

      (edit: I also got stung the $35 shipping, but the chair is quite weighty and the box larger than your standard office works chair, so probably a fair price)

    Difficult company to deal with. They charged what was a relatively high price for shipping the chair ($35) and it was suppose to be shipped over night. They got my address wrong, and they admit that it was human error on their behalf, and took a week to ship the item. Not interested in offering any form of compensation for the delay, will definitely not be recommending them based on the way they respond to issues and treat their customers. I hope that none of us have any issues requiring warranty as from what I have seen it will be a nightmare to get them to do anything!

      received mine - happy with it. But yeah the courier they use (hunterexpress) is terrible.
