Chrome crashes like crazy on my ipad.
It depends on the website, but when I had the Air I could easily make it crash browsing. The Air 2 rarely crashes while browsing, so I'm putting it down the lack of ram. The Air is a fast tablet, but if it had 2 gb of ram, there would be no reason to buy an Air 2 then. The SoC isn't a huge leap over the Air, which was already plenty powerful enough. If I was in the market for an iPad I would always pay the slight extra for the latest version.

AFAIK, all "3rd party" browsers use Safari as back-end.
Their Youtube app is also dreadful. There's a 50% stuck/crash rate when you time seek the video.

You'll have a better chance calling their main number (1300 633 423) and getting it delivered for free rather than trying to find it in a local store.

Just called the Apple store in Sydney CBD (8083 9400 opt 5) and they can price match if OfficeWorks in the city has them in stock.
Note that only applies to the retail store.
The Apple online store won't price match this so you can't get free engraving - the lowest price they can give you is $499.
