  • Price is in USD. Comes up as $21.10 in AUD.

  • There should be a warning for the amount of Engrish on that product page.

A watch that doesn't even tell the time..

    I don't even.

  • The usefulness of these very much comes down to how good the companion app is. I kickstarted (well, "pozibled") a chinese fitness band. The band itself is pretty decent. But the app is kind of buggy and stupid, which really limits how useful it can be.

      I use this, it's pretty good: http://en.miui.com/thread-53761-1-1.html

Edit: I don't find the app itself bad, I like the sleep info and the step tracking is pretty accurate. I just wish they'd add cycling.

Mine works quite well. The bundled app is easy to use. Battery life is at 45 days @40% remaining without charging.
    Is gearbest a reputable seller?

There has been some variation in how long things take to arrive. Some people have reported very long or failed to deliver. I got one of their super cheap gimmick gadgets once, spent 3 months clicking the unsubscribe links in their emails, and eventually just had to teach gmail to send them to spam.

    • i've received 3/3 of the things I've bought from them. Although it did take a while.. they were all gimmicky crap anyway

  • how long will shipping take roughly? Been looking for one of these.. anyone know whats best alternative?
edit: whats difference with Auto, SingPost and NetherlandsPost for flat rate shipping?

So, it is not a bomb, we're not in-line to electrocute anyone (as with a corn bulb LED) nor would this pass even for a Samsung fit-bit (might look somewhat different).

Could be such a refreshing thing - if only I had a noble Customs-or ACMA- rep, serve as an important wingman, to get out a message that the.guys.are good & may trade unimpeded with, our neighbour China, securely. ..Pretty please? ..if you're out there.

Back to topic has did anybody in NSW receive the Xiaomi Mi Band, from either Gearbest or Tinydeal last year? If no, what are they like handling Paypal disputes. Thanks.

    • Not sure why hidden. Was defending the 'Band.
ahem..while OP label it a bracelet Watch.

Is this wrong - the articles have gone missing in post are typical small electronic parts they try & nab. Seems fairly random and rarely is there an explanation. But it is stymieing trade. :|

I do actually own this. It is pretty much a FitBit at a tenth of the cost. Battery life is exceptional, around a month, and the companion app is pretty decent. Captures walking, running and sleeping.

Only complaint I have is that viewing your progress in a day without using the app is quite a hit and miss. What I mean is - when you are not paired with your phone via Bluetooth to view the exact steps, you should be able to, in theory view using the indicator bars how much of your goal you have reached, and this is triggered by a motion sensor of bringing the watch near your face in the same manner you would use any other watch to look at the time, however, this is a hit and miss and quite often the watch doesn't capture the gesture, and I'm left constantly turning my hand trying to trigger it.

    • Agree with the hit and miss of doing the action correctly to get an indication of how you are progressing. But it does vibrate a couple of times once you've reached your daily goal.

I manage to get it everytime now. Make sure your hand is stretched out along your side before you bring your arm up

    • can you guys comment on effectiveness of the alarm waking you up? (How strong is it? and particularly interested in the ability wake you up during light sleep? )

  • I pulled the trigger on one of these today 20.01.15 and paid $21.05

  • How long does it take for it to arrive from Gearbest heard delivery times are bad
