  The UE lineup which occasionally go for cheap are far superior to these in regards to SQ. Really not even worth the advertised $60.

      Although it is true that sound quality is subjective, Sound accuracy is NOT.

      Not a fan of UE over-ears either, but unless you prefer an emphasis/hump on muddy and loose bass that tries to emulate a sub and miserably fails, good chance that you won't find these any better.

      These are a notch better than the Beats Solo HD, which sound like you've put a cardboard box on your head and put a set of $5 speakers on either side of your ear. (obv exaggerated, but same idea)

      Despite the SQ on a similarly priced UE headphone being average or mediocre for the price you pay (let's say the UE6000 that went for $50 on COTD), sound reproduction on the UEs can be considered superior to these in regards to balanced tone and the much nicer PRaT.
