Perhaps their worst, but better than other brands? I can't comment, haven't had Ducks before, but compared to other beers available for $10 I might be sucked into trying it.
I agree. It's extremely generic, and almost tastes flat. If selling Fat Yak in a can doesn't destroy the Matilda brand, then this beer surely will.
Common misconception that canned beer is always worse. Less oxygen in a can and less light enters the can as opposed to a bottle.
canned beer has the problem of drinking it from the can. The inside of the can is coated to protect the beer - if it's poured into a glass there will be no taste difference (it should be better, due to the lack of light hitting it and less oxygen leakage on cans). They also stack better, transport better, etc.
Outside of the can has no protection, so you're putting your lips on metal, which is worse than putting it on glass. The BPA in can liners isn't the healthiest stuff, so you wouldn't want to use canned beer for long term storage either (like aged abbey ales or something)
