Picked up one of these above ground pools from BIG W Joondalup WA. We have been looking at getting one from Bunnings or Target, and found this at our local BigW by chance. The Bunnings one (Summer escape) is smaller at 2.44mt (8ft X 30inch)for $89 http://www.bunnings.com.au/poolscape-244x244x76cm-quick-set-… . The Big W (Driclad brand) Pool is 10ft (3 mt) X 30 inch deep for just $55.
You get the pool and pump (Plus fittings) for this price. If you want a ground sheet and pool cover they are extra.
This type of pool has an inflatable ring as a pool lip, and the water volume held by this Driclad pool is 3600litres when 80% full (Recommended fill level).
We are happy to get one year out of it for this price. Very easy to set up too, and no leaks.

We have seen plenty of stock at Joondalup and Whitfords WA stores. I assume as WA is the backwater state in Australia, they will be everywhere else too :-)

    got mine for $30 each 12 months ago. decent pool for the price.
    got 2 but as mine is undercover havent cracked open the 2nd one yet.
    great for sinking into on those damn hot days.
    be aware of local council pool fencing issues.

      Our local council in WA is pretty strict, and they have fly overs every three months now trying to catch people out…

    We got one of these yesterday. I'm sunburnt but in this heat it's awesome. My boy loves it as well.

    I assume that this is available to all Big W stores, but not all stores may still have stock. I think there were about 20 or more kits at both Joondalup and Whitfords stores in WA, so I would expect that there would be similar deliveries to other stores around Australia.

    At my local stores they were stocked on pallets near the pool accessories area of the store.

    These are great. I purchased one for my swingers club

    It has seen plenty of use and is holding up well

    If you run or attend a swingers club I would strongly recommend one of these
