Wouldn't this wear out your screen pretty quickly.

    • If your screen is made out of sugar glass yes.

I downloaded its Windows Server file and double clicked to install following Symantec showed following warnings:

    • There is strong evidence that this file is untrustworthy.
    • This file has been seen by hundreds of Symantec users.
    • Symantec has known about this file approximately 1 month.

I was suspicious first by just looking their website, pls use your judgment before installing, I will advise to avoid..

    • Oh, okay. I saw a comment on the Play Store by someone who said that they got a virus. Guess I should add that in the post.

  • best app i found for this is
remote mouse it works soo good no lag and the free app is non intrusive

I just gave this a try.
It's both a WiFi mouse & keyboard, and I'm quite impressed by its features and performance.

My guess re the 'virus' reports is that Symantec's heuristics just sees an 'unfamiliar' app that has remote control abilities and labels it suspicious.

The app looks fairly professional and trustworthy to me, though I'm no security expert.

    • Hey, have you tried running a virus scan on the program that you installed on your computer, that may give us a final conclusion. Thanks for sharing that by the way. :)

      • +1

No worries, I'm just running Microsoft Security Essentials on my Win7 laptop.
I ran a Quick Scan of entire PC, and a Custom Scan of the MouseServer program folders, all clear to both.

        • Thanks. Guess there is no virus then, think I'll just leave that note in the description though.

I got the Wifi Mouse Pro free upgrade last year. It was great for the first week, then every every five minutes it would have an ad pop up. Ads would stack, the button to close adds would change and the program suddenly became laggy when closing ads.

With Ads this program is a pain in the rear if used on a media centre.
