New 5G 8GB iPod Nano $178 at Big W

240

Starting Thursday October 15, Big W are selling the new iPod Nano with camera and radio for $20 off the RRP at just $178. An even better deal if you can get Officeworks to beat the price by 5%, bringing the total cost down to a tidy little $169.10 (cheaper than most 4G clearances!)

Officeworks usually checks the competitor ipod prices to match the lowest price, the sticker might say $187 but when they scan it, it will already be $178

Kmart also has a price match policy to beat by 10%

    • Kmart only match the price.

kmart has a new 10% price beat policy now so if kmart dont have the bigw price on thursday.. you can get 10% off

http://www.kmart.com.au/pricepromise/default.asp - They say they'll match it - not beat it, according to their website.

        • in their weekly catalogue email today it said this "We promise to match the advertised price on any identical stocked item, excluding clearance, online or warehouse offers."

          • @BelLikesABarg: its pretty recent that Kmart changed their policy to 10%, I did it the other day with a DVD box set, matched, 10% and then 5% staff discount.

so i'm pretty sure that kmart has 10% price beat policy now..

just have to wait and see what kmart's price is on thursday…

FYI, I purchased the 16Gb 4G Nano for ~ $170 from JB HiFi on the weekend. Bondi Junction still has stock in gold, orange and pink. Was posted on OzBargain previously; you may be interested if you want to sacrifice video for more storage.

  • JB also has the 5G 8GB for $178…

  • wow jb hi-fi is quick to match competitve pricing, it already lowered both the nano and touch prices equal to that of big w's upcoming sale.
