Is the credit supposed to have an expiry?
I got some Skype credit last time, and after activating and adding to account, it has an expiry date…… Shouldn't credit added to an account last indefinitely, until it's used up??

Hmm are you certain about what you saw? AFAIK the credit never expires*, and it says "Your credit never expires" on the webpage about prepaid, but the voucher may be time limited. Personally I've never seen any indication that my credit might expire.
* In the past they deactivated idle accounts after 6 months but would reactivate on request. Not sure if deactivation still happens.
Yeah, I knew that the actual cards expire 1 yr after being activated at the checkout.
But I thought that once they are added to the Skype account as credit, it should never expire…
After i added some cards I bought from big w, in my account it says expires June next year, so not even 1 yr…. I added them to my account a few months ago!
Just want to make sure actual credit added to account isn't supposed to expire, before I buy some more. Then I can sort out my problem with Skype "support" later when I have time.

You don't lose your money, you just have to reactivate the credit.
Buyer beware. Just signed up to Skype premium only to find out that calls to aussie mobiles are now NOT included in the premium plan. landlines only included. Not happy as I am sure this has only recently changed.
IN the Find country/region tab, search for Australia. It will then give you the option to choose a plan that includes mobiles to aussie
Yes after being onto chat you have to actually type in Australia as the region then you are given the option to upgrade and it goes from $99 yearly to $209 yearly on the unlimited plan to have mobiles included, so I just dropped down to 600min. plan yearly. just a heads up for anyone else because if you dont type in Australia you are not given the upgrade option. Thanks EC for your input.

I don't think the 300 or 600 plans have changed much. Maybe the "Unlimited" plan got a hike up.

Do I have to use a Euro IP to purchase the subscription？ Because it is called Worldwide Unlimited but in AU website there is only Premium Unlimited.

Having used VPN and switched to UK ip. Changed my skype profile location to UK. Still into this. How can I purchase the subscription specialised for Euro users?
EDIT: Purchased Worldwide Unlimited 1 month. But I still come up to the above error information when I click the free month link. It is said in the T&C that this offer doesn't apply to Australia. Where else should I change the location setting? Is it the credit card for payment, or billing address, or linked mobile number? Anyway I cannot fake UK ones for them so I guess I just cannot get the offer.
