Missed out on Using Your $80 for $100 Woolworths Voucher from Groupon? Read This

So, I purchased the Groupon $80 for $100 Woolworths voucher in November (this: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/168330). But, when I first went to use it, it gave me an error. No biggie, I thought, I'll sort this out later. Unfortunately, I ended up being distracted by moving houses later in November and the voucher expired. I contacted Groupon about it, who gave me $20 Groupon credit as a gesture of goodwill. I didn't think I was going to get anything more, so wrote off my $80 :(

However, I just checked my junk mail, and it seems Groupon have sent me a message saying, in short, that they noticed I didn't use my Woolworths voucher and have given me another code for $80 credit at Woolworths to use by 31 December. I haven't checked that it works, but thought I would give you all a head's up in case your situation was like mine and your voucher expired before you got to use it!

So, in short, if your Groupon Woolworths Voucher expired, check your email/junk email, you may have a replacement code!

    Well done to groupon or woolies for that.

    I remember the bad old days of vouchers, that I bought for a resturant, and they wouldn't let me book any seat even though it had 1 week till expiry, saying they are booked out for the whole week. And forced me to forfeit my voucher, and the voucher website says tough luck, book earlier next time.

    I'm so glad businesses have lifted their game. Well done op.
