Hi All,
Need some valuable suggestions here. Looks like I am trapped by a seller in Ebay and would like to know how to get rid of this issue?
Today morning, I have purchased 2 tablets with damn cheap price which was looking like fraud, however, as it was accepting "Paypal" payment, I didn't bother about the payment and went ahead to purchase these two in less than $60 which actual would have been more than $600.
I have got Email from Ebay with warning "MC999 eBay account security communication partner warning" by saying
Our records show that you recently contacted or received messages from through eBay's messaging system. An unauthorized third party may have compromised this member's account security by accessing the account.
We've taken action to restore this account to its original owner. Take extra caution with any communication you may have received from the compromised account. We are unaware of any problems with your own account. We sent this message only as a precaution.
Here are the next steps to take:
- Don't respond to offers to buy or sell an item. The offer may be fraudulent, and the transaction won't be covered by eBay protection programs.
When I logged into my account and saw I have only 1 purchase listed which is also removed by Ebay saying "We had to remove this listing from the site and you're not required to complete the transaction. If you've already sent payment, the sale should process as normal and you don't have anything to worry about. If you have any questions about delivery, please check tracking or contact your seller. If you run into any trouble along the way eBay is here to help. Please visit the Resolution Centre to help resolve any problems you may encounter."
And for the other purchase which is not showing in my Ebay account, I have got an Email from Ebay saying that my order is confirmed.
I am totally confused for the above two separate messages along with warning message from Ebay.
So, what should I do in this situation and how to get back my money as I feel it would definitely a fraud.
Regards,
Shakti
