Bosch 7kg Washing Machine at The Good Guys $599 (Less Cash)

110

I am in the market for a smallish European washing machine and with a budget of around $600. I noticed this deal on a new Bosch front loader. Judging by some online sleuthing I have decided that Bosch is a decent white goods brand (better than Simpson and generic brands, not as good as Miele, Osko etc).

Why is it a bargain? Is here for $709 http://www.appliancesonline.com.au/7kg-front-load-bosch-wash…

  • I'm also in the market for a similar beast however HN has this for the same price: http://www.harveynorman.com.au/bosch-7kg-front-loading-washi… Sorry to be the one to debase the deal :( Good effort tho :)

  • Offer ends today according to the product page: http://www.thegoodguys.com.au/bosch-7kg-front-load-washer-wa…

  • $599 at Harvey Norman too. And get $50 back with the Amex deal.

  • I think you're better off with the Korean machines in this price bracket personally, but still pretty good price I guess

    • The OP and I are in the market for one so what would you recommend? Links??

  • +1

I bought one around this price maybe a bit more in august and really enjoy using it. Especially with the delay function.

My first washing machine and can't fault it so far.

  • It has been reduced to $585 on the website. I bought it earlier today after doing my research andfrom what I read I am happy with my decision.

  • The Samsung 7.5kg entry level units are great, I've had one for a few years and hasn't skipped a beat. They've been as cheap as $400 after cash back but probably float around $550 otherwise, in which case a good look at the Bosch would be wise, particularly as it could be quieter or have extra features.

  • last year, just after christmas i think, washing machines dropped heaps at appliances online/tgg. maybe it's a trend.

if so, consider buying from tgg since they pricematch for a period after your purchase.

  • Having been in the white goods industry, they have the worst reputation for after sales service. Good luck with trying to get thru their call centre. Last 2 times it tokk me minimum 13 minutes being on hold before someone answered. The last washing machine I brought was lasted 2 years and 17 days.

Maybe my luck, but probably lucky for others.
