Just in the local bunnings, they're clearing out 4 pack Gu10 3000k led globes, were $36. Still about 10 packs on a clearance table.
Also Phillips Gu10 single packs for $2. Good deal because 36 degree, the 4 pack are 60 degree beams.

There was a tag for mr16 Phillips led globes for $1 each but I didn't see any left.
I saw these the other day but equal to 30 watts is too dull I believe.
The Philips say equal to 50w
Wow
I thought I was doing well.
Just left Melville bunnings with 4 pack 3W leds for 9.90.
Marked as $20 on the shelf.
Seems LED light's prices are becoming "normal"…
Well this is a really budget level LED. 300 lumens is low. Even the Vic Government subsidy scheme has a bare minimum requirement of ~440 lumens. So don't expect these LEDs to give off significant light without a ton of them in the same room.
300 lumen? Meh. Too dim.
Perfect for my 4x rail mounted spotlights in the kitchen
I don't know about you guys but I don't think I can go back to normal lights anymore. It's either LED or no light!
Can I replace my halogen light to this LED light without changing my transformer?
GU10 is 240V input AFAIK
I have done this on my Arlec rail 4x gu10 spot lights. Works fine, much cheaper than buying the led out of the box rail light
if its mr16 it might affect your tv signal.
You can try, sometimes it will work, sometimes not.
If you have a transformer, it is 12V MR16, not GU10 and they will not fit.
Does that mean I have to change the transformer before I can use LED?
Philips are a good brand, I find 3000k too yellow, 4000k is much more pleasing.
anyone know if any Brisbane stores are selling em this cheap =) I'll have to go have a look I think
I grabbed the last of the Philips 4-packs for $5 each.
But $2 single is still good. Claims 270 lumen, 36 deg.
A shame they only have yellow-tint ones (2700K).
An awfully big discount, considering the new model is only 10% more efficient and costs $12.50.
Reply to self: oops, the new model is 40% brighter and uses 10% less power.
Thanks OP
These are on clearance at nunawading, victoria.
$9 each.
I believe one pack is 260 lumens(pictured), and there is a 300lumen pack.
Both are quite dim, and suited to hallways, toilets, outside areas where not a lot of light is required.
There were around 20 packs yesterday. They are on a large rolling shelf, yesterday it was at the back of isle 50
None at oxley bunnings just checked they are 350lm version so different to op
3 packs left at Morley
Didn't see any Mirabella globes left, but got the last 3 Phillips ones from Morley this morning - they were down to $1/each! Thanks for the deal! Now what do I do with the old halogen ones?
Coles Bentley had Mirabella Gu10 LED yesterday for $5 each on clearance. They had two MR16's also which I grabbed. Not as good as this but still cheap if you missed out.
Great price, did you notice any MR16?
