    I bought the game cheap. It was still a waste of money. I wanted to enjoy it and already knew what kind of game it was going to be, but the checkpointing system was stupid and unreliable. I walked around for about 2 hours exploring, and it was quite pretty, but when I needed to go I had no way to save the game. It saves when you hit a checkpoint.

    If I couldn't make a manual save, I assumed it would just save automatically upon exit. It didn't and I had to restart the game. I don't mind a no-manual-save game, as long as the checkpointing is frequent. I couldn't even find the first checkpoint. It wasted 2 hours of my time, so straight into the bin it went.

  Wrong price. As mentioned above, Stick of Truth is normally $54.95 and on sale for $18.68 (the same price as during the Steam sale earlier in the week). Stupid Australia tax.

  It's worthwhile checking amazon.com if you want to avoid the Australia tax. They usually match steam sales.

  For example, Wolfenstein is $26.38 USD on Aus Steam, but is $19.80 USD on Amazon.
