Is this code specific to this watch, or does it apply to other products, and is a certain $ value or % discount ?
I have a $25 discount code with HN - pity you cant stack 2 codes together.. this code gives $30 so wins.
LOL just noticed the "chat" popup on the HN website: "Hello Ozbargainer - Need any advice, talk to a expert now."
Re price comment above - that is the beauty of having a credit card with 2 years price protection - buy it now, use it now, but later when it drops in price (from same retailer) claim back the difference, so you can buy it now but pay next years lower price (eventually).
On that note, I reckon JB are more likely to offer at a discount/sale price later - other than drops in RRP that is.
the code gives you 10% off in fitness products, by the way which credit card is that? it will help a lot if its really gives 2 years of price protection.
Coles Mastercard - with optional price protection enabled (the fee is 1% of each months closing balance - but if you pay the card off every month the fee becomes 1% of $0 which is $0)
FYI when I apply the code the price is $323.10 (free pickup in store)
Moto 360 will be $255 on the tgg eBay site from tomorrow. May be a better buy for some. That's what I'm hanging for. Dse may even have it as part of this eBay sale.
Oooh tempting…. I think I prefer the larger screen, gorilla glass, and cleaner look with no raised bezel to get in the way of swiping on the Moto360 - but the flat tyre, older CPU architecture, lack of passive display, and poor battery life are putting me off.
If they could put the LG GWR innards into a Moto360 case, it would be perfect (for me).
They fixed the battery and lag issues with a software update. Motorola must of been drunk when they decided to put a 45nm CPU in a watch… But battery life is around 1.5- 2 days, no more lag and flat tyre isn't noticable after a while. Moto 360 is much nicer in my opinion.
If you are right, and the Moto360 will be $255 with free pick-up, then you can add (from 10AM) an extra 20% discount from Cash Rewards bringing it down to $204. Now that is a good deal
I am pretty sure he means it will be $255 after the 20% discount tomorrow. $319 (RRP) - 20% = $255
You cant get 20% off twice.
I just re-read your comment - you mention 20% from CashRewards - the CR rebate is 2% not 20% (unless there is a very very special promo I am not aware of?)
So combined with the 20% from eBay/PayPal - the total discount would be 22% - and bring the net price down to ~$248.82
Note, it generally takes a couple of months for the CashRewards rebates to be paid.
Thanks for all the clarifications. So just under $250 for the Moto360, might still get it!
Looks like TGG took down both their MOTO 360 items from their ebay store just before the 20% went into effect. How nice of them.
They are on their eBay store - silver with pickup in store option, black is delivery only. Have sold heaps already.
EDIT: sorry looks like they have sold out now, or taken down. This happens sometimes, check back in a few hours or later tonight.
@iampivot: They definitely did not take it down. It was in my cart, but just before I submitted my Paypal payment I decided to go with the LG instead.
@eug:
Ahh sorry, I thought you were about to buy it and found they had disappeared from their site before you could. They were available for sale for ~$255 (after discount) for about the first hour of the eBay sale, 10AM-11AM (or 9AM QLD time) but nothing since.
Good for those lucky enough to buy in that first hour, but disappointing they have not kept selling them, as they would have been a big seller.
@systmworks: Hmm, you might have mixed me up with someone else. :)
It was such a good deal. A friend of mine was interested a few hours later but it had sold out. Pity!
What is the ebay deal tomorrow?
Wow, out of stock everywhere in Brisbane. It was in stock last night!
The LG GWR ?
I just checked Gold Coast stores, and 8 stores (including Brisbane) have stock.
Burleigh Waters
Bundall
Tweed Heads
Loganholme
Browns Plains
Cleveland
Mt Gravatt
CapalabaYup. It was in stock, then suddenly went out of stock in every store, then went back in stock. Must have been a problem with their stock system.
Picked one up yesterday. Quite nice. BTW people on WP mentioned that they've haggled it down to $320 at JB without any special sale going on.
I just ordered this one http://www.mobilezap.com.au/48346-lg-g-watch-r-for-android-s… for under $300 but it is coming from the UK. Hasn't arrived yet so I can't comment on the service.
This is one gorgeous watch, however I am looking for it to come down a bit more before it's actually worth it. Especially with Pebble making such discounts at the moment.
