Lexar 1066x 64GB Compactflash Card $91.95 USD + Shipping @ Adorama

140

This deal isn't for everyone but I've been watching Amazon for the last six months waiting for some cheap fast memory cards and they've finally been discounted.. More specifically have been wanting a 128gb 1066x card but normal price is $250 USD..

So 2x 64gb cards is $180USD.. Plus its 2 cards, which is good so that any failures are not limited to 1 card specifically. (should you have a total failure).

Now, here's the thing.. I wanted to buy 4 cards, but shipping is $62USD. However, if you combine the hopshopgo first time user deal, you should get postage for under $10 (well that's what I think it is). Adorama posts to hopshopgo for free, and it should be under 500 grams for the actual card..

  • Got the 800x Lexar 64gb two days ago for $54USD at bhphoto

    • @lehboy Just a warning.. I bought a 128gb lexar 800x card and was horrified by the speed. It's 800x READING.. and about 30mb/sec writing.. I did a comparison with my 233x card and it was no faster.. Thankfully I was able to return it with a full refund on ebay.. Those 800x lexar are horrible..

  • You only get a unit price of US$89.95 if you order 3 or more cards. Two cards = $181.90 ($90.95 ea)

    Quantity discount:

    • 1 - $91.95 ea
    • 2 - $90.95 ea
    • 3+ - $89.95 ea

Same price (and qty discount) at B&H, but their online store is closed for 21 hours.

    • Cheers.. thanks for that.. have updated the topic..

  • Do people/cameras still use these things?

    • camera are still made with CF, although they are usually dual with SDXC.

Canon Pro bodies still use CF, and have dual CF/SD, however the SD side of things is crippled in the 5D mk3 as it has a bandwidth limit of 30mb/sec..
