Hey guys, this is my first post. It is not a direct deal related to a specific store, rather letting you know that Samsung are bringing in a new lot of LCD tv's over this xmas and these TV's have been highly reduced by nearly $1300. RRP is $3299!!! HN, domayne, JBHiFi,Good Guys etc in Canberra for example are charging ~$2000.

I picked one up on the weekend for $2100 which is $300 less than the series 6 40" lcd. The series 7 holds a lot over other tv's of this size, and is comparable in black representation to the current side lit LCD LED backlit products by samsung.

Some quick specs:

Internet@TV lets you browse youtube and weather details straight from the tv

Some may not call this a deal as you can get cheaper 40" lcd panel with ease, but if you are after an awesome picture with loads of features then this is a steal. If you see this tv in the store, fiddle with the settings, as once set up properly, the picture quality IMHO is far better than the cheaper plasma panels (my dad has a prev generation 52" samsung plasma series 5). 200hz has worked wonders for not only tv channels buy also gaming.

    Great price on easily the best LCD around at the moment. I work @ Bing Lee (note - I am not an official store rep, just a regular employee) and I did one on the weekend for $2200 with a 5 year warranty. MYER have been offering ~$2100 and a few Domayne and HN have been doing similar prices.

    The Domayne and HN in my area cannot get ANY stock on the B750 series (40 or 46") but I know that we have quite a few units at Bing Lee (> 50 as of yesterday). Bing Lee share stock from central distribution warehouse so no matter which store you go to there should be no problem getting one.

    While Domayne/HN are doing them for ~$2100 I know at least that Domayne's warranty is about $300 for 5 years pushing this right up to $2400. Try BL and you might be able to get it at least $150-200 cheaper. Depends on the store and the salesperson of course. The ticketed price is $2299 on these right now, so see how you go with this.

    The TV is absolutely amazing. They won't be around for much longer, so I'd pick one up asap!

    Interesting post. I went and checked my local stores and found;

    My local Myer currently has the 40" for $2699
    JB HiFi has the 46" for $2998

    Maybe it costs more to cart the TVs up our hill ;)

      That sucks, got other stores like harvey norman there? Good guys? try them, give them a buzz and see what they can do.

        My local Harvey Norman still has them from 2700!

        But Good Guys did have a 58 inch Samsung Plasma for $3000 - down from 4300. Now that was a big telly!
