      That sounds similar to what the government is saying about police and data retention laws. Though that may be true, I would be interested in the level of logging they do, which would affect the level of anonymity of the service.

        Considering that on the main Freedome page it says:

        Use Freedome for total anonymity – even from us. We don't log your traffic, your user name or even your contact details.

        …I think it's safe to say that unless they're intentionally breaching Finnish consumer law (which, like Australia, prohibits false advertising), that they don't track what you're doing.

  You do wonder why some Apps/programs that people would pay for security is free? there's gotta be a catch to it!
  Like jd4free said "I wonder if they do this to capture data to of sell to others." i'd say that's the reason why its free.

    Yep nothing is free, mmmm get users to use our vpn and then we can sell everything you do.
