Be prepared for the extremely large 60GB download for the PC version as it contains both English and Japanese VO's and Movies. If you don't want that big download find a Disc copy for PS3. Patch to add resolution options coming after XIII-2 launch. In the meantime find the Durante Mod/Patch to fix some issues.

I actually enjoyed it too. at the time. It felt relaxing.
It didn't need to be that long though, I guess they felt the pressure (as a final fantasy flagship title) to make it long on purpose to fulfill the value proposition.
It was an interesting game to play through - completely linear in both the beginning and the end (as in, you walk from one side of the map to the other) with one massive open-world area in the middle for farming.
I enjoyed the game, put many hours into it, but it is a farm-intensive experience with an incredibly confusing storyline.
