  • RemotePro, I just sent a pic sms of my Tau 2 channel 433mhz remote to your phone number on your site. Which one will match?
    Thanks

    • Hi!

I will check the pic and get back to you as soon as possible.

  • Wow OP, those Ford BA/BF remotes are really cheap… assuming they come with a battery. I was quoted way more than that by a key-cutting joint just to get a new battery put in my current remote. So, do they come with a battery?

    • Hi!

Comes with a brand new battery and instructions. If you have any questions, please let me know.

      • Yep, soz, I should have looked a bit more closely at the product description, which I just re-checked. Excellent.

      • -1

They are around $12.00 on ebay.

  • Hey RemotePro - any recommendations for a B&D roller door without a remote please?

    • +1

If you can please let me know the model number of the motor and I will be able to point you in the right direction.

      • RemotePro - it's been a pleasure doing business with you. Your customer service is fantastic. Thanks so much :)

  • I had the exact same experience asking the price of a new battery for an existing remote from a keycutting place, thanks RemotePro for a much better alternative!

You should mention you have free shipping too.

  • you don't do Mitsubishi lancer remotes by any chance? I checked your website but thought it worth with asking.

    • Unfortunately we do not stock any products for Mitsubishi at the moment.

  • Any B&D compatible remotes with 9 dip switches inside?

    • Hi,

Yes, we have duplicator remotes. You most likely have a remote called a MPC2 or MPC3.

          Hi,

This one we do not stock. Cheapest option is to add a receiver to your motor which allows you to use a more modern remote. Alternatively B&D sells the original for about $80ea.

        • @RemotePro:

Thanks for advice. Any idea on cost of that receiver?

Might annoy other residents in the unit block though ;)

        • @Steptoe:

We sell a receiver and two remote pack for $60 but it depends on what connection your motor has. Adding a receiver will not affect the original remotes, they will continue to work. It's generally DIY but if you live in a complex your body corp might not allow you to add it on. If you have any questions, please let me know.

        • @RemotePro:
So basically acts as a parallel switch in the control circuit? Thanks for the honest suggestions.

        • +1

          @Steptoe:

Yes, that's correct. The receiver is a manual switch that can be operated by a more affordable remote.

  • Do you have any garage door openers compatible with "Magic Button"?
It has 12 DIP switches, and has KW O-2-94V-O and 14LG245 - B written on PCB.

    • Hi!

Unfortunately we do not stock this remote. If you search a brand called Elsema you will be able to find a key ring sized version compatible with your remote. If you have any questions, please let me know.

      • Thanks, I was not aware there was a compatible model. All the best.

        • No worries. If you have trouble finding the right remote, please let me know and I'll send you a link.

        • @RemotePro:
I've ordered an Elsema KEY301. I would have liked to order from you to support the great feedback you are giving, but as you mentioned you don't stock it.
          Thanks again.

        • @ruddj:

No worries at all. Just keep in mind that when matching the little switches inside that the code in the new remote will be backwards compared to your original. The instructions provided with the new remote should explain this. If you have any issues, please let me know.

        • @RemotePro: I've just received the Key301 and I can't figure out what the switches should be. I tried entering them the same, then swapping off & on, then reversing the number order and then swapping on/off again. Any suggestions? Thanks again.

        • @ruddj:

          Hi,

Just a few questions. Do both remotes have the same amount of switches? Did instructions come with the remote? If not, please send an email to [email protected] and I will send you a copy. By reversing the switches, position 12 on your old remote will be position 1 on your new remote, position 11 on your old remote will be position 2 on your new remote ect. Any switches that are down or off should be ignored.

        • @RemotePro:

Also if position 12 on your old remote is up then position 1 on the new remote will be up ect.

  • Hi RemotePro, I just placed an order and forget to apply the discount code, will you be able to fix for me? Order 1383

And the shipping address is auto filled wrong as well, it should be Victoria 3205 not ACT.

    • Hi,

That's no problem. I will fix up the address and refund the discounted amount.

      • Sorry, the address is totally wrong, stupid iPhone auto filling.
Please use my billing address as the shipping address, the wheelers hill 3150 one thanks.

I don't know about you guys, but I reckon this guy/gal is one of the most responsive/helpful "Associated OP's" of all time! If only they were all like this! Great work OP, I hope you get a few orders/business out of this post… if the goods are delivered in a reasonable amount of time and are decent quality, word-of-mouth should spread and translate to more ongoing business. That might take a while longer than the initial response to this post though (a few months). Anyways, nice post, and great ongoing communication/follow-up/'potential customer' support so far! Impressive.

Thank you very much for the kind words!

  • Hi RemotePro. Any chance you might stock Alfa Romeo remotes at some point?

    • Yes, we mainly do garage remotes but we are expanding our automotive range with new products every month. If you need your key urgently and can't find it elsewhere at a good price, please send us an email with the details and we should be able to get it in for you.

    • Hi!

The eBay listing doesn't have any info in regards to warranties and support so in respect to that its hard to compare. We offer paper instructions, an instructional video via our website, phone support and a one year warranty. It's a bit difficult to comment on the actual product with out looking at the circuit board. We have many remotes that use the same generic case but different chips on the inside. Hope this helps!

  • How do I apply coupon when paying with paypal?

edit: found it - you proceed as if you are going to pay via CC, enter coupon code and on the last screen choose Paypal

  • Do you have anything compatible with B&D Controll-A-Door 4 , 27.145MHz remote?

    • Hi Roon,

Please see the comments above by Steptoe. You both have the same remote.

  • Thanks, so I need a https://www.remotepro.com.au/collections/receivers/products/…. Description is limited. Does its supply power come from CAD4?

    • Hi,

That's the product you will need. Most motors allow the receiver to draw power. But if it doesn't have this feature then a power adapter will be required. If you'd like to email through some pics of your motor I will be able to tell you if it has this option. If you have your original manual this will also have the info. If you are searching for your manual online it will be a bit difficult as there are many different versions of the CAD4.

The ATA PTX2/PTX5 replacement is listed as $17 and with 20% off = $13.60 (with free postage)
on your ebay store the same product is listed for only $11.70 (with free postage)

are there any benefits to buying from your site rather than your ebay store?

  • ordered thanks rep.
    hopefully its straight forward.

  • +2

I don't mean to be an a-hole, because your price is reasonable, and sounds like your service is reasonable, but even your own ebay store is cheaper than the price on your site after the 20% off code. This is true for the remote I looked at anyway.
    https://www.remotepro.com.au/collections/garage-gate-remotes…
    would appear to correspond to:
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/B-D-BND-062162-059116-433MHz-Gara…

which appears to be almost identical to this (although I'm not claiming it is):
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Firmamatic-Firmadoor-Firmatic-B-D…

    • Nice pickup. Was just about to place an order but will wait to hear back from Rep

      • Hi Guys,

Sorry for the late reply. The eBay store and website run independently from each other. There are some products that are cheaper on eBay but a lot of others that are considerably cheaper on the website. There are quite a few products on the site that are not sold on eBay. The main point of difference is that the website offers a one year warranty on all purchases as opposed to eBay which is 30 days. I hope this helps, If you have any questions, please let me know.

        • +2

If you are a registered Australian business then consumer law states it will be a 1 year warranty not 30 days.

  • As a couple other users have noticed, your own ebay listings have better pricing than this deal. As such I think this 'deal' deserves a neg.
