Wrong model: link shows Pioneer SE-CL541i-K. These are actually better and have a rough price of $20-$25 shipped from eBay. Also have iPhone controls which is a big plus. oo.com.au might still have $10 off $50 for new customers meaning you might be able to get $50-10 + $15ish shipping = $55 - $60 shipped for 10 pairs of pretty decent earphones (at least for Sydney Metro).

Couldn't find many reviews for this but if you scroll halfway down this page, you can read a short paragraph about them: http://www.computerweekly.com/blogs/inspect-a-gadget/2012/09…. Seems decent enough, and a bargain at the price.

nice.. $14.77 delivered to sydney metro

these'll go nicely with all the other earphones and headsets that i've horded from ozbargain -_-

    • Ever get the feeling you are just waiting for your "old one" to break so you feel less guilty about your 10 spares in the cupboard?

  • Mine just arrived today. They are definitely the i model designed to work with iPhone. I have a Galaxy S3 and the button still works with some apps to change songs etc, but the volume is non-functional on it, as you would expect. They're nice quality actually, thick cord that seems like it would last a while. Sound quality is good, and they have this interesting idea to keep them in your ears. That triangular looking extension on the phones is designed to hook inside part of your ear and keep them in place. I haven't worn them for an extended period, so I don't know how annoying it would get, but they do hold the earpiece in your ear more effectively than a normal bud.

    • mine arrived today.. can confirm that play/pause + quickly double pressing the middle button will skip songs in the default music player of my Note 3.. volume buttons don't do anything. comparing the sound quality to the $5 DSE iLuvs bass is deeper and volume is louder.. mids are more pronounced than the highs though.. plug is L shaped, it's a symmetrical Y split and you get a shirt clip.. you also get this rather odd looking and useless contraption to wrap the cable around (i think) and a felt pouch for storage

fave in terms of sound quality is still my creative ep-360i (rebadged senns) :)

oh and oo included a packet of jelly beans too =)
