Just at Manila waiting for my return flight to Sydney.
Nothing wrong for this price, decent budget airline but pretty rough around the edges and their staff seem a bit incompetent at times. That's probably in comparison to AirAsia/Tiger though who have been doing these intl flights a lot longer.
On the way out here flight was delayed 3hrs so was unable to make my connection too…. recommend not booking any connections or make sure they are at least 5hrs later as Cebu Pacific advertises on their website "68% on time!"

Now just need to work out what to do for 2 weeks…. Probably couple of days in Manila then off to a nice island whit white sandy beach, any recommendations besides Borocay which I understand is now too busy & commercialized?
I just had a relaxing 4 nights in Puerto Galera. Sabang Beach. Not a lot of beach in Sabang, but if you bargain well you can take a day trip boat for 1200 php (for the whole boat - not per person) around the corner to White Beach (which is a lot quieter and very little to do at night) - just for a day trip. Easy Bus - Ferry with Sikat departing and returning to City State Tower Hotel. Cost 1600php return total! approx 3 hours travel time each way, but it went quick, and was well organised. I recommend stay at City State Tower or Lotus Hotel, Mabini Street, the night before. A couple of good bars/restaurants in the immediate area, but do not wander down dark streets at night in the area. Puerto Galera is well set up for day scuba diving trips. Lots of Korean groups though in the hotel that I stayed at, and they had even larger groups of bar girls with them. That would have been ok except that they had no respect for the quiet enjoyment of the hotel by other guests. Lots of pleasant restaurants overlooking the water. Also recommend the floating bar. Weather in the Philippines in June will be a real challenge!

Dam tiger airlines suck..Had my flight booked on Jan 29 from Brisbane to Sydney arriving Sydney at 8.45 am… get an email today some bullshit about having to change the flight due to operational requirements. So now it arrives at 10.55am with my flight to Manila at 12.35 pm so 1.5 hours to get from domestic to international then immigration and check in no way that can happen.
So i ring tiger and all they can do is put me on a flight arriving on 28th at 7.45 pm. So 17 hours sitting at the airport would drive me nuts. And i cant even get a credit with that stupid tigerair. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Do you mean JUNE 29 ? The travel dates for these cheap CebuPacific fares are from 1st June.
If not, you'll be waiting more than 17 hours, more like 5 months at the airport ;-0
As a tip, get TigerAir flights pricematched by Jetstar for better reliability.
