IMO $15 to deliver such a bulky item is more than reasonable. would more than cover the hassle of going to collect it.
The $15 delivery is the real bargain here.
Canningvale wanted $20 to deliver 2 towels.
Very impressive for a regulation sized table! Will probably end up pulling the trigger on this one. Cheers OP.
So tempted. $15 definitely reasonable for delivery, hour round trip for me to my local Kmart.
Why Kmart? :P
Ah, Target, not Kmart. Good call. 45 mins then.
Sounds like a "smashing" deal.
Here's the "below" assembly video (for people wondering how well this might store while not in use) -

Dear god, the table top is four pieces. I hope the centerline join is tongue and groove, or it will be very uneven. Even with t&g joins the ball will likely ricochet at this point.
I thoroughly concur. No deal in my opinion.
We got one of these aaages ago.
Was a pain to put together and wasnt very sturdy. Ended up selling it pretty quick
Was this exact same target one
The top looks very thin and will warp quickly. The legs are thin and will be very wobly. Poor quality table at $94 delivered. On ebay a very solidly built table for $159.99 delivered: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/TABLE-TENNIS-PING-PONG-TABLE-PRO-…
Please note: Table is currently OUT OF STOCK in Sydney/Brisbane/Perth. The next table we have is the 19mm Table Tennis table; http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/TABLE-TENNIS-PING-PONG-TABLE-PRO-…
Table is only in stock in MELBOURNE.This table is great (currently $229 delivered but on special sometimes at $199): http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/TABLE-TENNIS-PING-PONG-TABLE-PRO-…
@Logical:
I've got this table.. Worth it for $200. Very sturdy and easy to store.I have it too, and it came with good quality net, bats and pingpong balls.
4 upvotes on this and 4 sold today on ebay.. hmm..
Bad equipment can ruin an otherwise great game. Having a table made up of four pieces unfortunately makes an uneven centreline and inconsistent bounces.
No deal when you factor in durability and that a $200 table is far better and will outlast this many times over.i think that turkz1 was referring to the ebay 'solid' table being sold 4 times.. and not dodgy 4 piece target table.
@chyawala: not worth a neg vote though.
@Heizenberg:
I was actually referring to the comment by ash2000 https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/2367594?redirect=1 about the top being constructed of 4 pieces of wood. Looking at the picture it seems this is the true. A product that's dodgy and is not upfront about how it fails is not a deal and worth a neg IMHO.@chyawala: just because its not the same quality as a $200 table, doesn't mean that its not a deal. Its a good price for a low end table tennis table that would be perfectly fine for many people
ebay sent me a 10% off voucher.. i'm not sure if its targeted. Check your inboxes ppl.
..and yes it's targeted.
I made the mistake of telling friends I can play table tennis… embarrassment soon followed as I mis-hit and mis-timed every ball on my side of the table. Still was a lot of fun playing doubles.
Got one for dining table, thanks Rep!
Looks like you won't be dining for much longer lol
Eating while playing Pingpong make people easy digest!
You eat people?
Don't eat clowns - they taste funny.
I pulled the trigger on this one……..

If it's crap or damaged then it goes straight back:
These things are super cheap and break easily.
Don't even think about putting it in the garage either, they rot and break.
Anyone know if this is sturdier than the aldi one?
Bit of buyers remorse kicking in as the aldi one I bought didn't come with the net and bays :-/Anyone know if this is sturdier than the aldi one?
Bit of buyers remorse kicking in as the aldi one I bought didn't come with the net and bats :-/the 4 piece tops suck.. if the ball strikes the centre tape it deviates off its trajectory
Make sure you have enough room for these, as they are a space hog - even folded up.
After a couple years of having one folded up (takes up too much space in the garage), I took the wood playing surface off the metals legs in 2 pieces. So now if I want to play, I have 2 small workbenches on castors that I can roll out, and put the pieces of wood on top of. Although they aren't at the very exact official height, but close enough.
Just an idea, if anyone else is in the position I was in :)
If you want a pro table, then you need a 25mm top such as this: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/TABLE-TENNIS-PING-PONG-TABLE-PRO-…
Pretty good price at $300 with free delivery. When I bought mine 7 years ago it was $750 for a branded table, and that was a good price.
Yeah pretty cheap and looks quite nice, I think it's the ones my school used.
Any 10% off vouchers for these? I would like to buy this one for $270 delivered.
Now, to go and find some friends…
The wall never lets me win
just got to hit a bit harder :)
This is now free shipping.
