"… minimum spend with the code is $34 for 2 people 3 meals per week"

So that's $34/(2x3) = almost $6 per meal, per person. Seems expensive, given that you have to cook it yourself. Or have I not understood your post correctly?

Not bothering after the last deal. They cancelled the majority of orders because they don't seem to understand how to limit a coupon when they say it's for so many uses. They have a horrible site, which tells you the box is still being delivered after they send a cancellation email and it takes them a month to refund the money they took.

    • "Not bothering after the last deal."

Yeppers, you're absolutely spot on there hoots. Also, their bumbling attempts at "damage control" in the aftermath of their last fiasco were appalling/laughable; sending out emails falsely stating that the customer had cancelled, when in fact it was they who had decided to welch on the deal, transparently false excuses for the entire debacle etc.… All very patronising.
As an international/ well-heeled company they could actually have honoured the deal that they offered and which was accepted by many peeps on this site; all they needed to do was explain that because they'd screwed up, they would have to provide the deal to batches of people month-by-month, until all that accepted it, had received it. Had they done that, the promotional offer would actually have served its purpose; it would have promoted the company. Instead they chose to cross, offend/patronise and ultimately alienate thousands of potential customers. Oh, and those who paid via non-refundable cards also lost their money (albeit only a small amount).
So it seems the peeps entrusted to run the Australian branch of this company are absolute amateurs; I'm not at all surprised by garth's post below, indicating that they are now resorting to the age-old "mail-order-scheister" tactic of continuing to deliver/charge after cancellation.

  • Meh, they're handing out these discount cards all over the City. Have about 5 in my office..
    Sounds like a crock

They are a terrible company. I cancelled but still sent me boxes and tried charging me.
