This is very good value for money. It contains:

The games have been heavily modded, which improves their playability, graphics, etc. I always recommend purchasing moddable games. I believe Gamersgate has Ubi codes for at least some of the games, since it mentions a Ubi account is required. Gamersgate sometimes sends out personal use 20% off codes, so check your emails to see if you have one of those too. Enjoy ubooters!

  Check the DRM - it is crap.

  Avoid this like the plague - doesn't work on UPLAY

    I think Gamersgate may not actually be aware that Ubisoft revoked the always-online requirement for Silent Hunter 5 way back at the end of 2010. It just activates online during installation. You can now even play it in offline mode.

    SH 3 & 5 use Tages, which is just your run-of-the-mil online authentication DRM like SecuROM.

    Not a valid reason for a negging. The games still work. $6 for 3 sub games + a large DLC is a bargain, definitely the lowest price so far for these titles. SH 3 and 5 were Ubi activatable codes for me (UPlay), only Silent Hunter 4 had the Tages DRM.

  The modding community for SH 3 and 4 is legendary and you can polish up SH3 to look quite respectable for a game made in 2006. SH3 is a far deeper, realistic and more hardcore game than either of its sequels, so despite the steep learning curve it is far more rewarding than SH5's extremely rudimentary, point-and-shoot mechanics that feel incredibly consolised.

  SH5 is also still incredibly buggy to this day and suffers from many unfixable problems.

  My list of recommended mods for SH3:

  • Grey Wolves Expansion Mod 3.0 (much more than a mod; basically converts vanilla SH3 into a new and improved game, I recommend running it with the following optional sub-mods: Captain America's Officer Icons, Enhanced Damage Effects, Merged Campaign, Integrated Orders, Main movie - 'Das Boot', Axis Mediterranean Aircraft Skins, English Nav Map and Grid Refs, Open Hatch Mod, VIIC41 Player Sub)

  Tnx for the deal, and the mod list, but I too try to steer clear of any Uplay or Origin deals unless they're free. While I won't purchase, I had to give +1 for the excellent price :)
